About Me
Hello! I'm Sarah P. Culver, a certified art teacher in Connecticut and New York, as well as a current Master of Library Science graduate student at Southern Connecticut State University. I have studied design history on a postgraduate level at Parsons New School of Design in the past. I am going into my fifth year of teaching.
My passion for education and art has led me to pursue a cross-endorsement in School Library Media Specialist as part of my MLIS program. I'm particularly interested in art and design history, with a focus on the New York World Fairs and post-modernism Italian art. As an artist myself, I enjoy creating 2-dimensional work, especially painting.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I love to travel, explore different museums and libraries, and visit my sister in New York City.
I'm excited about establishing connections with fellow professionals in the library, museum, and education sectors. I am open to networking opportunities and exploring potential job or educational prospects. Feel free to reach out to me on LinkedIn. You may also located me on Instagram.
