o Over the Deep Blue Sea by Super Simple Songs
https://youtu.be/lCPJhybHBkA
Students will watch an demostration of how to use the paintbrush with the paint, and how to paint on paper. The teacher will introduce one color at a time, ie. students start with light blue first, then are given dark blue, so then they are allowed to mix these two together. The teacher will give the students a choice to add glitter to their 'oceans' when they are done. At the end of the class, if there is time, students may watch:
o Baby Shark
https://youtu.be/GR2o6k8aPlI
DAY TWO: Clay
Students will watch how to make a 'boat' by pinching their clay. The teacher will add a popsicle stick to their boat when they are done.
When both the paint and clay is dried, the teacher will add a 'sail' - colored paper triangle - to the popsicle and glue the clay boat to the painted paper. The teacher may use modge podge on the clay boat and painted paper with glitter, but is not necessary.
